Cursed Door
Our garage door has been responsible for several mishaps and irritations this week. That door shuts really fast and hard on it's own. The slamming of the door has caused a dish to fall and break from the cubborad in the past. It's always sticking and hard to get open. Ichigo our cat knows to run through the door before it gets her tail. This week the door has really been on the war path. First I tumbled down the stairs because I was getting out of the way of the door before the door nob could smack my tail bone, which has happend several times. Then the door came swinging shut on my hand. Then today when we got home from church, Dave went to open the door and the door nob came off in his hand. So until DAve fixes the door we have to go around to get to our freezor or the cars. Then I realize we are totaly out of milk, again the doors fault because I was on my way to the grocery store but didn't because my foot hurt to much. Then I forgot we still needed milk. Oh ya another thing, our phone is right by the garage door, so if you're on the phone you can be sure someone opens the garage door on you and you can't get out of the way because you're standing in a divit in the kitchen counter that was cut out for the door so you get either your head smacked or your toes run over by the big heavy door, and you get mad and yell at the poor soul who was just opening the door. There's also a low cubboard in front of the door, good luck getting anything out of there without a concusion or a black eye. So that door has caused a lot of contention in our home this week.

What a week!
I'm trying to think of one good thing that happened this week and my mind is a blank. Monday I blew up at Dave because I couldn't take his company stock pile all over the house any more. He just laughed at me and gave me that "you need a chill pill" look. I told him no more DI runs until you start selling this crap off. Then of course the guilt sets in that I'm not being very understanding.
on Thursday I was going out the garage door to go grocery shopping and fell down the cement stairs. I was looking at my cell phone and stepped out into air. I landed on my foot sideways. Then after crawling back into the house, I got up and it didn't feel too bad. So I decided I'd go anyway to the store, because we were out of food and I needed to go get something for dinner. I asked Dave if he wanted to go, he said no, he had some things to do. So I hobbled out the door, he held the door open for me, I had my hand on the door frame while I went down the stairs, Dave let the door go and slam, right on my hand. I yelled in pain and Dave said "I didn't do anything". So while I'm driving to the store, the real pain has set in, so I decide to just get a papa murphys pizza and go home. I get home and Dave's gone. I call him on his cell phone and he said he had to run to the store. (????)
I asked why he didn't just go with us. He said he didn't think of it. If you're thinking he was out buying Valentine gifts, think again. So I kinda snapped at him on the phone and said we can't afford to be wasting gas like this. I also checked our checking account to see what he was up to this time. Transactions show up emediatly on our credit unions online access. He was at DI buying more junk. He finds things at DI that he thinks people want and puts it up on his web page. Nobody has yet to have baughten any of his "findings". Then I notice that he had been to DI 3 times this week so far. Then when he got home he was very mad at me and was slamming things around. I'm glad I'm going to Phoenix for 2 weeks next week with my folks. I need a break. But then again, I'm terrified of what get rich quick sceme Dave will come up with while I'm gone. You wouldn't believe the phone calls we get from people Dave's contacted asking about this and that get rich quick sceme. He alsmost paid $10 for a "free" trial package of an unknown product. I overheard the phone conversation. I asked DAve what he just agreed to this time and he said it's a free trial package. I asked for what. He said he didn't know. I asked how much is the shipping and he said just $10 but it's a gaunteed money maker. I stamped my foot and said no no no. He again gave me that "you need a chill pill" look and laughed at me. The guy was going to call back for DAve's credit card number. I told Dave you do not have my permission to give that guy our credit card number. Dave said ok. So Dave emailed this guy asking for more details. The guy got mad at Dave and said he was dumb for not taking advantage of this opportunity. Finally found out that this was the expensive chocolate thing. I have to keep tabs on DAve. I hate having to do that. Oh well, what can I do about it? I can't punish him in any way.
